Hereditary Spastic Parapalegia - an incurable crippling disease I inherited from my mother. This has made life tougher and more challenging. It has also caused me to be more patient and have more compassion.

Latest:
A group formed a business named Howard Technologies Incorporated and we are going to harvest a new energy source, become independent of oil, and greatly reduce global warming. Plan to retire from NASA January 3, 2003. Our Congressman, Dave Weldon, an old friend from church, put on his doctors hat the last time we talked. He agreed with me when I told him I think I should keep on working with this disease.
